Amun is a writer, cultural researcher, programmer, Kathak dancer, and aspiring storyteller. She works at the intersection of culture, art, media, and community-engaged work, leveraging interdisciplinary approaches and visual storytelling in the anthropological discipline. Amun’s goal is to engage public audiences and build community whilst subverting hegemonic sociopolitical narratives and creating meaningful art.

Currently, Amun continues as a production lead and assistant director with Modoxy Media and 64th Street Media and is collaborating with Dazed MENA in an editorial capacity.

She is based in Dubai, UAE.
